When he was elected, I told my normally left of left, former hippie father that I was afraid for the safety and future of this country with him in office. My father said, and I quote, "He's too stupid to do anything damaging."
My response then was "So was Reagan, right? That's the problem. An ignorant puppet gets voted in and he is a slave to those around him, even when their suggestions are wrong and will do no good for this country or any others." Add to that his personal vendetta against the man that tried to "kill [his] daddy! *fist slams on desk*" and you've got... well, our current state of affairs. I love the current voting system in this country... *mops up the sarcasm*
