Inspiration Desperation

I had a great idea for my people documentary... but now my communist (for she was a communist) has fled to London and turned her phone off.
I now have to think of a back up plan.
And I can't.

Anyone know any people with stories? Please?

What kind of thing do you need?

do they have to be real?
can't you pay someone to pretend to be a commie? or go interview a bag lady/beggar?

The have to be real sadly, as many of my imaginary friends lead dashing lives of adventure.

Along the lines of the One Life series on BBC1 I think, like a kid meeting their real parent for the first time, or 2 sporting rivals going head to head, that sort of thing. Real lives with interesting events.

Also sadly, I won't be paying anyone to do anything as I currently don't have a red cent to my name.

My step great aunt would probably be good for that. She was a guerilla leader in the Philippines in the Second World War and was imprisoned by the Americans and Japanese alike because of her skill with a machine gun and her communist sympathies. She's really interesting to talk to. Unfortunately I don't have her phone number and the only person I can think of who would have it (i.e. my stepmother) is in Australia atm. You could try directory enquiries for Celia Pomeroy in London, but I should imagine cold calling is a really bad and awkward idea.

I shall think harder.
