G8 demo on Sat- quarter of a million people picking up ready-made placards, walking with them for a couple of miles, then discarding them at the other end all over the ground. Got a great picture of the one guy coming out of Starbucks, latte in one hand, placard in the other ( Read more... )

hellllloooo! I rescued your coat-hangers. I am glad to see you weren't carried off by Glastonbury waves!
I would love to come down, but there is no possibility of that for at least 3 weeks cos I am working on something or other every day o'the week. but i will write and call you to stop you going maaaaadddd. (MAAADDD, I tell you, etc.etc.)
