hey, i got the link to your journal from the tai community. first, i wanted to say that warped was wonderful and i hope you had some kick ass times there as well. second, i completely agree with you about tai fans. of course not all of them are only into the band because of william, but far too few of them are in it for the music and it disgusts me! music is obviously the world to that band and i wish more people would recognize that. i started listening to them around the same time that you did, and its nice to hear about a fan of the MUSIC!

I'm glad you enjoyed Warped, I certainly did. That's exactly how I feel. I mean music is what is important to the boys, thats what they're in it for. Shouldn't we all just do the same? I think so. Thank you for your reply, it is refreshing to see some similiar opinions. I don't feel so alone hah.

I read your journal from the your post on the tailivejournal-I rarely ever check it in the past year due to the exact reasons you wrote about. I can't even stand the pettiness of most of the people on there...who's a bigger fan..who knows them best. who fucking cares? Do you support those amazing guys and their music? that's all I care about. So thank you for putting that out there. I've enjoyed these guys for as long as you and living in Chicago I've seen them dozens of times and every time the "scene" gets a little bit worse. I just hope it doesn't end up ruining the experience completely.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been shying away from the boards for this reason. I couldn't tell if I was looking too deep or just not deep enough ya know? Lucky to live in Chicago...good music...bad scene.

I agree with you completely. I'm terrified that the experience of TAI will be ruined completely. Everytime time gets a little less potent.
