I've certainly never seen an LJ display like that! I can only guess that something has corrupted the code which defines the style for femsc's LJ pages; it might be worth re-selecting it on the relevant options page (or wherever it's done - I can't remember). Does it happen in another browser?

I've just had a look at my LJ using Chrome, and it's fine. So... what have I changed in Firefox, and why does it only affect certain pages?

That at least seems to nail it down to an odd FF version/LJ interaction. I updated FF to v3.6.11 on this machine either yesterday or today - I forget which - and it works completely normally. Whether it's worth doing an uninstall/reinstall of FF I couldn't say, but it's about all I can think of apart from re-selecting your chosen LJ style.

Should also add that PC has been rebooted but nowt has changed. What on earth did I do to cause this, and how do I change it back again?

Baffled, extremely. And also pissed off because it makes LJ unreadable.

Tried FF's View->Zoom->Reset ?

It looks just generally magnified, but if it's /only/ FF...
Actually, if it's only bits-of-LJ-on-FF, weirdierer

Might be simplest to just change the journal style, so everything gets reset.

...and possibly to delete cookies and temporary files too - or wouldn't that help? - I'm just guessing now.

Well that's always worth a try if nowt else sorts it.
