DISPLAY GLITCH - ADVICE PLEASE
Posting this on behalf of femsc who has somehow, inadvertently, changed the way her Journal and her Friends Page display. Everything is much expanded, and posts are displayed with one word per line, making it stupidly hard to read.

Request re Haunted Fishtank
Could anyone who receives BBC2 Wales do us a favour please, and record a programme at 10 o'clock tonight? It's a rehearsal for Only Boys Aloud, a musical extravaganza that Thomas is involved in. There are also programmes on Wed, Thurs & Fri at same time. Pretty please? -

POINTY THINGS
Started the process of making my next batch of arrows today, marking the lengths, and giving them the first coat of Danish oil. Tomorrow, it'll be wraps, nocks & piles. Also fletchings and second coat of oil if time allows ( Read more... ) -
Hoofing again
Resumed walking after a few weeks off.
Sunday 28 March
Up to the Bwlch, and straight on. Turned right before Y Werfa, and headed north between the forest and the cwm. Round to the north of the cwm, and picked up the track over Mynydd Tyle-coch. Followed track despite damn' fool route. Eventually descended to Cwmparc, and to old rly track. ( Read more... ) -
THE ROUTE
has been submitted. In true 'essay crisis' style, it has been sent in on the final day, with complete disregard for any remaining errors or omissions.
Now awaiting exclamations of incredulity from north of the border, and hopefully sage advice. (You know, like 'Goes well with onions') -
THREE WALKS
The 'arse-in-gear' programme has been continuing, intermittently.
Sunday 10 January With Thomas. From Dinam Park, up Cwn Lan. From shortly before the waterfall, zigzagged up to the woods on the hilltop. Through/round the woods to Cwn Cesig. Back into trees to pick up forest track. Followed it over Mynydd Bwllfa and Llwynypia Mountain. ( Read more... ) -
Two walks
The 'get out there and do some walking' programme has officially started - albeit gently.
Sunday 27 December Up the back lane to the Bwlch, and back. Weather: cold, dry, windy, bright. Distance: 4+ miles. Ascent : roughly 270m (if starting height =170). Time: 65mins up, 55 mins back. Conclusions: Need to add a layer and dig out a ( Read more... ) -

Nice lie-in: got up when I woke up. Cloudless blue sky. Dusting of snow on hill opposite, but none down here. Off to see friends this afternoon. Weekend ahead.
