I am tempted to just rename and use my current profile just for games and just create me a personal profile where it's just the usual gang of friends and non game related crap. Well, either do that or just start hiding the worst of the offenders from your home page.

Yeah, I know that hiding them is an option... the problem is that the most hardcore of the offenders also tend to be the most hardcore players of the games, and post all the bonuses. Now if there were a way to filter out the stupid posts like "Fucktard Dumbass and 30 other idiots became fans of YET ANOTHER FARMVILLE CHEAT THAT DOESN'T REALLY WORK BUT YOU'RE A FUCKING MORON AND WILL JOIN ANYWAY," and also allow me to remove anything not game-related from them (like the religious asshats and borderline teabaggers), I'd love it.

Just curious, why do you feel the need to keep them on your FB friends list *at all*, or at least hide their updates completely? JMO, but anyone whose posts irritate you that much isn't worth keeping around.

Because I have them for the games I'm playing, and since the worst of them also post the most things that help my game, I put up with it and vent.

This is why I
1. Only add people on know IRL or from LJ.
2. BLOCK ALL updates from any and ALL games.
3. Refuse/delete any game related updates/invites/wall postings and such.

200+ friends, and if I see one game update of any kind more than once every few days, I'm surprised.

Hey, speaking of, what's your name on FB? Just your middle and last name like usual?
