Ass-ventures in Los Angeles land!!

So I woke up this morning in excruciating pain and covered in my own blood. No I'm not kidding.

Turns out ths I had a fistulated, infected hemerrhoid that had ruptured. So, having no insurance I drove myself to USC medical. Incidentally I have learned never to drive yourself to the hospital when in that kind of condition.

Not sure, I skipped my rehearsal last night and I may bow out of Saturdays performance. Maybe we'll just game that day instead :)

Poor you! Weirdly, I went to my local ER last week for abdominal pain too (though no blood). Turns out I have a kidney stone. Now that I know how to medicate for it, I'm fine. Perhaps it was National Abdominal Pain Month and we just didn't know it. Oy.

I like that you're able to turn your illness into an interesting post with a tasty moral message in the center.
