Fantastic job blending the two Treks into a really well made tribute vid. I loved the masking effects throughout and the general idea behind the Enterprise crew watching this on their screens. Nice work!

ETA: Here via blitzed451's rec.

Can't believe I never commented on this. This vid just makes me smile. Great blending of TOS and XI!

Thanks. After Steady As She Goes' crackiness, I just wanted every trekkie to get that warm fuzzy sentimental and nostalgic feeling in the pit of their gut. I'm glad I made you smile. Definately going to be re-entering it into a future round.

Saw this last night at BASCon and it nearly made me wibble. I've been a fangirl since TOS; in fact my earliest memory is of the Gorn from Arena. That was the point in the vid when I nearly lost it...but the clips showing the actors trying to make the Vulcan LLaP symbol or Zachary Quinto or Leonard Nimoy grinning out of character were just as terrible for my self-possession.

I'm so glad I purchased the DVD-your production quality is just gorgeous, and the effects were amazing, and I loved what you did with the saturation. I loved how the ship itself in its incarnations was a character to be adored as well. Just...oh man.

Just so many ♥s

Thank you for this so much, for all the incredible patience and love it must have taken to gather together all the media and put it together with such precision and gorgeous timing and beauty.

There's so much nostalgia and love from the comments on this video in particular; it's why I do what I do.
