So I just read Twilight for the first time.
...which makes it the second book I've read for the year (this year I actually plan on reading 50 books or plays...it's going to happen)

Well...it was odd. Not terrible, but not really my cup of tea. I was so put off by how absolutely obsessed with Edward she became and it made her such a bitch towards her

I just gave "Twilight" a twirl myself. I took objection to the message of: "Hey girls! The healthiest love is the kind of love that leaves you feeling as though you can never live up to your significant other. But hey, fuck self esteem, right?"

In other news, my college chorus is singing Tales of the Mira and I freaked out. "You guys! My amazing friend Jeff sang this solo!"

Thesis: You are awesome. "Twilight" is not.
