I love Sunday in the Park With George!

It is just so damn beautiful.

The song they did at the Tony's, "Move On", is a great duet and the revival cast is pretty solid. I will always prefer Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin, but the new cast is nice.

"Sunday" is still one of the most amazingly beautiful songs in musical theatre history with it's ( Read more... )

Um... how did "Transylvania Mania" not make the list of Young Frankenstein songs? Christopher Fitzgerald is AMAZING. Also-- yay for 1776! And have you heard any of the Broadway cast of "Xanadu" yet? Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson! Pretty fun stuff.

yeah I did forget that song. He's got a lot of talent. Oh and I just got Xanadu, but I've only listened to like two songs. It sounds pretty good so far.

sooo here i go with my feelings on your musicals list. lol.

*kudos for having Big River on there. I was just in that show and LOVE it.
*IDK how i've never heard 'Bright Lights, Big City', but just because you said Patrick Wilson, Sherie Rene Scott, and Celia Keenan-Bolger are in it i'm going to check it out
*With the exception of Elaine Stritch, the Revival Recording of COMPANY is SOOOOO Much better. If you havent checked it out, you must.
*There is a cast recording of Evening Primrose, it was on a dual album of that and 'The Frogs'. Neil Patrick Harris was in it, and its a fabulous Recording so look for it or i will find a way to get it to you. Although i would love to hear Megan Mullally singing some of those songs...
*Legally Blonde? Really? of all the ones i may not agree with on your list, this one is the only one i felt like i needed to question.

ALSO- you need to check out [title of show], if you havent already. And if you have, i need a really good explanation as to why it didnt make this list, because i KNOW you will love ( ... )

You know Legally Blonde actually turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The biggest problem it has is the lead. She's a little lame, but the songs can be funny. I also just got [Title of Show] but I haven't listened to it yet...I really should

Oh...and I MUST get that recording of Evening Primrose.
