Biking, and a shortness of life
There was a bike accident last week in Moss Beach. A truck crossed the highway from the other direction and hit the rider who was riding on the shoulder. Pretty nasty, the rider was declared dead at the scene.

So hey ... i never noticed this post because, well, i probably haven't been on LJ since you wrote it. ... which is telling in and of itself.
I have a variety of thoughts to what you wrote, but before sharing them, i felt like it'd be more appropriate to see if/how things have changed. I.e., here we are, 1 year and 1 week (almost) later; have you had more thoughts about this? Have your perceptions changed?
