Gettin' ready for work

I'm just getting ready for work at 8, gotta make sure I eat something and change clothes and bring my Physics book with me just in case there is any downtime so I can study for my evil midterm tomorrow at 9am. If anyone wants to come just head on over to Florida Tech and go towards the cafeteria, just ask where 'the Rat' is and people will point

It's actually pretty mathematical and you'll do great at it!

sight reading is tough. I'd personally recommend just getting good and quick with the songs you know now. Not to mention on piano, sight reading is insane because you have treble and bass to read.

sight reading suuuuucks. i'm horrible at it, in both singing AND playing violin. i'm a mathmatically geared person, and if i sit down with the music i'll do fine after a while, but thats just because i cant read music that fast and translate it into passion at my fingertips. that just takes practice. although lately i've gotten a lot better and sightreading music i'm playing... and in singing... honestly, i learn by ear. i cant do it any other way.

Sightreading is fun, but making music up on the spot is more fun.

Ug! I used to be able to sight read and I was rather good at it but I've sort of stopped playing Violin and singing all together so there hasn't been a need and I've lost the skill. It isn't all that hard once you start doing it, its just remembering what sharps and flats you have and all that fun stuff, oh and turning the pages :P
