I've been meaning to do this for a while, but things have been a little busy lately. For those that don't know, I'm Allen Walker and I work as a clown at the circus.

Wouldn't it be better to give up?

Why would I do that?

It's not much of a circus with one clown. All types may've been brought here, but are you really expecting to find enough with the right skills?

There was enough to fill the circus before, I don't see why I shouldn't at least try to gather interest before giving up completely. And I can always train people who are interested in performing, there's no point in just deciding to quit right away.

You must really love the circus. Are you that talented?

I'm pretty good. And a lot of people put their hard work into that circus, it'd be a shame to throw it all away.

And what if they come back? They'll need somewhere to return to.

Then of course we'll still have room for them.

Also, the circus has to survive for that reason.

Exactly! Which is why I'm not just giving up.

What will happen if you leave, too?

That would be too bad. But hopefully there will be others that want to take it on as well.

And it seems no matter how many times I leave I wind up back here again without my memories, it would probably be just my luck to get dragged back a fourth time.
