.Beneath a winter moon, Changmin learns about magic
They lay on a thick blanket on the roof of the building. The moon, silvered and large, seemed to bear down on the city below. Seemed close enough to almost touch. Illusion, really.
"The moon is linked to magical things. Vampires, werewolves, fairies, the tides-"
"The tides are magical?" Changmin snorted.
Lightly kicking Changmin's ankle, Yoochun said mildly, "Bodies of water with their hidden depths, exotic creatures, and constant rippling change are magical."
Another snort.
"You don't believe in magic, Changmin?"
"Can't say that I do. Do you really believe in it?" He shivered slightly in the cold winter moonlight. It seemed more aloof and frigid than magical to him.
"I do."
Changmin turned his head. "Do you believe in miracles too?"
"Absolutely."
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
Silence reigned for a few breaths and then Yoochun's fingers curled around Changmin's waist and his head nestled into Changmin's chest. "Why wouldn't I believe in magic and miracles when I have you?"
