Part 4 of 6 for
MBLAQ 30 drabbles challenge Prompt 3: dilemma
Pairing: AC- Seungho/Joon
Word count: 115
“What on earth is taking him so long?” Seungho crossed his arms in irritation.
The three members ready and on time glanced at each other before dutifully avoiding his glare. They mumbled and shuffled. Frustrated, he threw his hands up and grumbled, “Fine. I’ll go check.”
In the bedroom doorway, Seungho halted mid-stride. A tornado obviously hated clothes because there were various articles tossed around the room with abandon. The rummaging in one corner caught his attention and the tornado assumed the name of Changsun.
“What are you doing? It’s time to go. Past time actually.”
“I can’t decide what shirt to wear.” Another scorned shirt sailed across the room and landed on Seungho’s head.
Prompt 6: gift
Pairing: Joon/Mir
Word count: 120
They collapsed in a sweaty, gasping heap of sated flesh. Bathed in only the glinting city lights outside the window, Mir nuzzled Joon’s neck and sighed contentedly. The long lean muscles quivered under his chest as Joon came down from his orgasm with a few full body shivers. Mir danced his fingers up Joon’s slick skin and grinned at the resulting exhausted moan.
“No more. I’m exhausted and we have a hell schedule tomorrow.”
“I shouldn’t abuse you so often. I’m sorry.” There was only laughter and affection in Mir’s voice.
“Don’t apologize. And you should abuse me often. You have a talent for it.” Joon shifted and Mir slid off his back so they could cuddle face to face.
Prompt 11: prank
Pairing: Mir/Seungho
Word count: 108
Grinning madly, he read the last sentence of the fanfiction and decided to get something to eat. After reading about his intense and sexual exercise regimen, he felt rather famished. Rummaging through the refrigerator, he paused briefly when he heard footsteps padding through the living room. He knew those footsteps and knew the owner couldn’t resist peeking at active computer screen. Cocking a hip against the counter, he waited for the container of leftovers to finish heating. The silence in the other room continued through the ding of the microwave and his first few bites.
“Oh my fucking god!” Mir shrieked and, mouth full of food, Seungho smiled.
Prompt 12: song
Pairing: G.O/Seungho
Word count: 155
He sings you heartbreak and shatters you into a million pieces. Agony shreds your soul even as it flies on the notes of his voice. Pain should never sound so breathtakingly beautiful, you think, as his voice rises and falls with the melody of hurt and despair. You weep inside but smile at him as he glances at you. You nod, of course you nod your encouragement. But it hurts. My god, how it hurts to hear those words ranging so beautifully through the air.
As the last note dies away, you hold your breath and watch him as he approaches and kneels before you. “How was it?” he asks because it matters to him. Your opinion always has.
“It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.” You stroke fingers through his messy hair and are rewarded with an impish smile.
“It’s your song, you know. The one I would sing if you ever left.”
Prompt 15: 4 times Seungho asked, one time Joon answered honestly
Pairing: AC- Seungho/Joon
Word count: 128 (I apologize if this one is ridiculous. I was listening to “God Lives There” by Alisha’s Attic….it warped the drabble. <.<;;)
1: “Why do you gaze at the sky?”
Joon smiled. “Because I think it is pretty.”
2: “You’re doing it again!”
“What?”
“Staring at the sky. Why?”
“Because I can.” Joon grinned.
3: “Not again with the freaking sky.” Seungho growled.
“What is your problem?”
“It’s annoying. Why do you keep doing it when you know that?”
“Why, to annoy you, of course.” Joon smirked.
4. “Why? Can you just tell me?”
Joon chuckled. “To make you ask questions, silly.”
5. “When will you give me an honest answer?”
“What makes you think I haven’t been honest?”
“Because you smile or laugh but it never reaches your eyes. Be honest.”
Joon turned a dark gaze on Seungho. “I enjoy looking at it because I believe God lives there.”
Prompt 21: flower
Pairing: Cheondong/Joon
Word count: 79
He blossoms beneath your hands, so fragile and beautiful. Still, for all his delicacy, he possesses a wiry strength and a steely determination. All soft petals and sharp thorns and you wouldn’t trade all the pricks and punctures for another flower. He grows and wraps around like a wild rose bush, overtaking your heart and piercing your soul until to untangle yourself would kill you both. There are, perhaps, flowers daintier, less dangerous, but none near so beautifully resilient.
Prompt 22: clean
Pairing: AC- Joon/Seungho
Word count: 142
“A picnic? Isn’t this a little, I don’t know, cliché? Ridiculous?” He glanced around the park. “You got me out of bed at the butt crack of dawn for a picnic?”
Pushing out his lower lip, Seungho pouted at Joon. “It is supposed to be romantic. A dawn picnic with all the trimmings and your lover is romantic. Not cliché or ridiculous.”
Joon stared at his pouting lover and glanced around. “It’s dawn because there is nobody around to witness two supposedly straight guys having a picnic of-“ Joon peeked into the basket, “-chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and various other not breakfast foods.”
Seungho glared. “Take the romance out of it, then.”
Kissing his lover on those beautifully pouty lips, Joon said, “I understand the need for discretion. But why a picnic?”
“Because. It is romantic. And fun. Good, clean, romantic fun.”
Prompt 26: dead
Pairing: AC - reader’s choice
Word count: 107
I dreamt of you last night. Sitting at the kitchen table, slurping up a bowl of ramen, you smiled at me and I wondered why you were at the table. I asked, since you preferred to eat your ramen while slouching on the sofa in front of the tv, and you laugh. Then you start to talk, being all smart, philosophical and serious between bites, while I sit across from you and miss your laugh. I briefly puzzle at why the missing is so intense, so painful. Until you slurp up the last bit of ramen and sigh, “The food just doesn’t taste as good in heaven.”
