24 hour fic challengeFinding prey was never a challenge. In America, willing males flocked around her because they considered her exotic. In Europe, willing females flocked to her because she was hot. In Asia, she looked liked everybody else. Only hotter.
She laughed softly to herself. Not really but over her too-many-years-to-count walking the planet, she'd heard the whole “Asians all look alike” often enough. She'd killed a few people for that comment.
Her temper was likely to be her downfall. Or so claimed her maker. But what did he know? He once killed a man for mistaking him for a woman. Then proceeded to dress up as a woman for laughs.
Kim Heechul was strange. Even for a vampire.
Lee Minyoung -Min, if you please- shifted against the padded bench of the VIP table in one of the clubs populating some district somewhere in....Min glanced around. China. She must be in China at the moment judging by the preponderance of Mandarin or Cantonese being spoken.
“China? Seriously?” She looked at Jia. “Feeling homesick?”
“Yea.” Jia pretended to sip the bright green drink in her hand. “Even the soulless undead get homesick. This one does anyway.” At Min's sardonic look, Jia sniffed. “Don't judge me.”
Propping her feet up on the low oddly shaped table, Min smirked. “Give it a few hundred years. You'll get over it.”
“Doesn't it bother you to be, well, ancient?”
Min glared. “I'm not ancient. Perhaps antique. But not ancient. Not like Heechul. Still I look all of twenty-one and always will. That's all that matters.”
Jia shrugged. “If you say so.”
The crowd one level below their booth shifted and parted. Min sat up, swinging her high heel-clad feet to the floor. The woman was taller than she. Min could tell even given the angle and distance. Her cheekbones looked like they could cut glass and her eyes slanted sexily, nearly vanishing when she smiled at the guy who danced towards her. Her shirt, what there was of it, showed off toned abs and shoulders. Her pants were low and tight. Her shoes low heeled and strappy. When she shifted her hips and turned, Min nearly swallowed her tongue. The woman was gorgeous front and back.
“Uh-oh. Which one?” Jia set her glass on the table and leaned forward. Following Min's rapt gaze, she sighed. “What is your fixation with Chinese girls? I would think you'd go after Koreans.”
Without bothering to shift her gaze, Min shrugged. “I like the way you Chinese girls taste.” She ran her tongue over full lips, felt the prick of a hungry fangs.
With a groan, Jia slouched back into her seat. “You're a perv, Min-ah.”
Standing, Min threw Jia a quick grin. A group of horny guys in the next booth found themselves with hard-ons and in cold sweats. “Yea, I am. And you love me for it.”
Leaping casually over the railing separating the VIP level from the dance floor the hot woman was on, Min twirled and gyrated her way through the crowd of dancers. Though some of them weren't dancing so much as fucking with clothes on. And even the clothes could be called into question in some cases. She didn't blame them though. She hoped to engage in similar activities very soon.
“Hey, sexy.” She stood on tiptoe to whisper in the nameless woman's ear, bracing her hands on the sexy woman's hips. Her cool fingertips met hot slick flesh. Her prey was working up a sweat. It smelled salty and sweet.
The woman whirled around. “Wha-?” She choked at the sight of Min. “Do I know you?”
“Not yet. I'm Min. You are?”
“Fei.” Even in the middle of a club, Fei's manners demanded she give an abbreviated bow.
“Dance with me, Fei. I haven't had a decent partner in ages.”
Wary but curious, not to mention attracted to the shorter curvy brunette, Fei agreed. They began to move to the beat. Min shifted closer, putting her hands on Fei's hips again, sliding one leg between the taller woman's. Between one song and the next, she pressed close, caressing Fei's slick lower back. When Min licked her neck, Fei reared back and looked at her.
“What the hell. We're dancing. Not engaging in foreplay.”
Running her hands up Fei's ribs, Min grinned. “Same thing in my book.”
“Obviously you and I read different books. Go riffle someone else's pages.” Wrenching herself out of Min's reach, Fei stormed into the crowd.
Letting her hands fall to her sides, she clenched them into fists. Nobody denied her. Nobody. She would have Fei. She knew her scent. “Run, little girl. Run as fast as you can. I will catch you.” Lifting her hands to her nose, she sniffed, enjoyed the scent of Fei's sweat. “I have the time to find you. All the time in the world.”
