yeah that was like a 25 second pr. i don't run the 5k too much (hadn't in 2 years) and i'm still in base phase. it'll be interesting to see what happens if i run another 5k after doing some anerobic threshold stuff so i can handle to lactic acid better for the longer distance. my calves took a beating the last 1200 or so, plus i got really bored late in the race (nvm the fact i was supposed to leach off people but they never ran the pace they were supposed to so i was doing way more work that coach wanted me to do). either way, i'll take the pr, haha.
where's the next race (i won't race again for about 3 weeks, personally)?
