let me begin by saying that it is now six in the morning; i just got off work, and i am not nearly coherent enough to formulate as intelligent a response as i would otherwise put together. however, i thought i would speak to this, because it seemed like an important, thought-provoking question

It's good to wait until you're ready, no matter how long it takes. I don't think it's necessary to wait until marriage-- I think the most important thing is for it to be with someone you love and respect, and for that person to love and respect you back.

I think you're younger than I am, right? I'm still waiting...
