It's tough to get hooked into a social life in a new community. I'm sure that you've had it before, but the big transition away from home is definitely the hardest because like you said, you don't know anyone and no one seems to know you.
So first question, do you have a church? Have you checked out Christian groups on campus? Have you looked into any of the clubs? I know it's summer, so maybe these aren't going yet, but these are the best places to find people like you with your passions and values. Some of my best friends came from the Christian group on my little campus.
God bless you, and take care. Every transition builds you up and makes you stronger. Keep plugging! I'll be praying for you

ahh, don't worry rayburn, its only a week or two into school, you can't expect too much. If you follow the Spirit's call, count everything as joy; just be your outgoing self and I know you'll find some people to hang out with. Something they say about college that's true, no matter what your interests/personality are like, there's always someone that shares them. First journal you've written in a while
