So I have definately been working. In the last 3 days, I have worked over 30 hours. That's a lot for my body to handle when I haven't had a job that requires standing for long periods for 6 months. So today is my first day of work. My shift was from 7-10am at McD's. As it turns out, someone called in sick today. And since I was absolutly kicking ass and taking names, they offered me the extra hours. So I am working from 230-11pm tonight. So I have been watching the news all morning. And for the last few hours, it has been the terrorist attacks in London. Not on politicians, military, or other armed services, but innocent people on their way to work. 4 Bombs, 37 confirmed dead, 700 injured. All I have to say is thank god for late night tv. Conan actually made me smile, my first real smile all day. Strange, it felt very foreign to my face. But it felt good. So we had a pretty good night lastnight. We went over to the Lake Sammamish Fireworks thingy. There was music and dancing, and Jet City Improv performed. It was nice. So I am trying that whole quit smoking thing. I haven't had a cigarette since early yesterday. And I am feeling much much much more pissy, angry, and just overall combative.
