It's dispicable to speak one's mind? I think it's a little more dispicable to point out someone's journal that doesn't agree with yours with a "I'm sooo much better than them" tone.
And once Haiti is no longer the fad, are people going to care about it like they claim while jumping down my throat? Or is it just going to be another fad thing people get bored of when it's not "cool" anymore and you can't trumpet on your LJ about how special you are because you're helping Haiti?
For your information, I'm living on about enough to survive. If I gave to every natural disaster, tidal wave, earthquake etc. I'd be on the streets.
First of all, it's not a "fad", it's an unfathomably devastating, happens-only-once-in-200-years disaster. It's an adverse event that needs to be addressed. Are you REALLY that stupid? Are you really that fucking ignorant to not realize how catastrophic this is? Or just heartless enough to not care

Haha, bullying or guilting was not my intention. I just took issue with "what are some creative ways that don't involve money to help Haiti?" Because, short of going down there, this is none. And if you don't want to donate, fine, but if you're going to advertise in your LJ that you're not going to donate because you think the Haitians don't deserve to be helped, yes, I'm going to bully and guilt you (if you come in my journal and instigate it), because that's bullshit.
But if you wanted to donate but didn't feel like it would make a difference or didn't know of any legit organizations, then I'm glad my post could sway you. ;)
