My Top...9 albums of the Year

I tried, I really did, to come up with ten albums I loved this year. Alas, I could really only come up with nine. Oh, well. The nine I did come up with are arguably brilliant, so I don't feel too bad. Here we go:

Yes! Marvelous insanity! Perfect way to describe Blueberry Boat.

I wish Régine did more songs on Funeral though. Guess that's something to hope for in the next album, which probably won't be for at least a year, since they'll have to keep touring to keep fueling the fire. Damn hype. "Alice died in the night, I've been learning to drive my whole life" is actually my most favorite part of the entire album...I haven't been touched like that since *insert lame, predictable Jacko joke here*

Yeah, that's probably my favorite part of the album as well. It's amazing because it's from Régine's own personal life (Alice was her grandmother who died, right?), yet the feelings it evokes are something everyone can relate to. And to think I didn't like Régine's songs for awhile.
