Well, my Christmas might have been a bit fucked up, but New Year's eve kicked ass. We finally had a fireworks holiday without a burn ban, and it seemed like everyone joined in on the fun. I didn't even have to buy many fireworks. I had plenty left over from the 4th of July, which was great seeing as how most of the stands were out of gear

Honestly, the thing I kept thinking of while reading this was the "Salsa Escape" episode of "Mythbusters". You know, the one where they load up a derelict cement truck with 800 lbs. of commercial-grade high explosives and detonate it in an abandoned quarry.

Yeah, that was the craziest explosion I have ever seen. I mean, who else can say they've blown up a cement mixer with the FBI? That was a great episode.

Wow, I think I was channeling Hunter S. Thompson for a couple lines up there.
