My Grandmother died yesterday.  I'm told it was around 7am.  I was just waking up and she was leaving this Earth.

I'm also told she died in her sleep.  I'd like to believe that it's the truth and not one of those things the hospital tells you to make you feel better.

Wow...I just realized that I haven't bitched in here in quite a while.

I am disturblingly awake at 12:46 am.  I should be unconscious since I have taken 2 Dilaudids and 2 Valiums in the past 8 hours.  Yet I am fucking wired.  I believe this is traditionally the opposite desired affect of these meds.

So, Laura is having her back surgery today.

I don't like it....nope, don't like it one bit.

Sigh...I know it's the best thing for her and she will feel immensely better afterwards.
