Lux Interior of the Cramps died yesterday of an existing heart condition. Thats a shame. I am happy to be able to say I was able to see them a few times before he passed. Fucker was 60 years old and still touring! I had no idea he was that old.

yeah this one definitely hurts. im still upset by the news. though 62 is no Spring Chicken when it comes to rock and roll, it was still far too young for anyyone to die, let alone such an iconic genius. I have always personally felt like the Cramps have always been very under rated for their impact on the punk movement, and music in general. during the 70s where there was just alot of shitty and obvious music, the cramps were doing something both cutting edge and yet classic.

Lux Interior is fucking legend. , im sad this has happened.
