I remember when I was in that awkward phase when I looked 110% female but started coming out to people as trans and getting the "this will never work! No one will ever think you're a real dude!" treatment. Often, the "but surely, people will notice that you don't have the ::ahem:: equipment" bit would come up and I'd have a good chuckle.
