Matt: makes some sort of untrue exaggeration Me: That's a hyperbole, and you can't make that assertion. Matt: It's not a hyper boil, it's just a pimple. Me: A pun-ple, even?
Okay, just randomly, I saw your fishy pong icon on the kittenbreak newsfeed and investigated your userpics and promptly died squeeing; would it be terrible of me to use a few of them? I'd credit you and stuff, and it's okay if you say no... :)
I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to you... I really need to check the address my comment alerts are sent to more often. Sure, you're welcome to the icons.
A little backstory: His name is Carp, which is short for Charles Augustus Robert Pinkerton, III. Carp thinks he's royalty and/or hot stuff, and he's based on a ten cent pet goldfish I got in the fifth grade, circa 1994. The goldfish's name was Mr. Big, and he grew to a whopping foot and a half long before his death in 2001. I started a comic strip for my own amusement a few years after we got Mr. Big, and Carp was christened in an early strip when he commented that he didn't know who this 'Mr. Big' character was; he happened to be Charles Augustus Robert Pinkerton, III. Eventually, I'll get the strips scanned to my website, but I almost always draw Carp in Photoshop now. Anyway, have at whatever icons you want. :) I'm glad to know somebody else likes him.
I can't imagine a foot and a half long goldfish, though, that's like, goldfish on steroids. :P Anyway, yes, Carp is completely awesome and very cute and I shall save the icons, and credit when I use them. :)
