every time someone asks me about france, my brain and vocal cords have trouble connecting. i never know what to say except "where to start?" and it is at that precise moment when the person seems to lose interest and change the subject. it sucks. i almost dread the question "how was france?" because how am i supposed to answer that? I so know what you mean. Liz and I missed you soooo much! We need to hang out!!!!! Then we can think of a sentence that describes France...then you won't have to worry about trying to tell people what France was like. When people ask me about Ghana I just say.."It's a third world country." And then they pretty much get the idea of what it was like. You could say.."It's full of French people." Or "It's France. It's prettier there than here." Or something..I'm sure you can come up with something much more witty.

i know what you mean. i went to europe for three weeks, and although i was just in france for three days, the whole experience was amazing. when i came back, i couldn't even begin to describe it, and sometimes i think people just asked to be polite.

either way, france > here.
