Been doing micro dermabrasion and photofacial since december.  I'm hoping to get my original skin tone back and get rid of all the blotches that have appeared since I've been doing fair.  They are showing through my makeup and it's been really frustrating trying to cover them up.  So far my skin is lighter and softer and the frekles are going away ( Read more... )

I've noticed before that the half-life of a beautiful, radiant complexion out at faire is about 2 years...it just starts getting harsher and harsher after that. I've strongly considered the photofacials as well - who are you using, and are you pleased with them?

I am using Renewed Beauty in North Park Mall. So far I am VERY happy! Ronn got it for me for Christmas :) I did the 2nd microderabrasion today and in two weeks I go for my 2nd Photofacial. Today my face is glowing white, the way it used to in highschool. I am excited :)

We got a deal where I'm paying 250 per session with the microdermabrasion for free. If you look around the photofacial alone is 300+. They said I only need 3 sessions. I've been able to pay per session instead of the whole thing up front as well. So I'd have to say, I love them!

It is maintenance. It's called taking care of yourself. Good for you for starting young.

I am way past due for a chemical peel. I then will decide if I need the photo facial. Last time, the chemical peel was enough. As I fast approach my 45th birthday, I will probably need more. I really like botox. Right now, it's been at least 2 years since I've done anything, and dayam does it show.

Of course the peel is a bit harsh, but I am older and have lighter skin. It's really just a step up from the micro dermabrasion. It reaches a bit deaper and my dermatologist recommended it because of the skin cancer history. It takes off all the rogue basal cells off.
