I will admit I don't fully understand a lot of the ramifications of the new LJ Terms of Service. I'm pretty sure that's the point.

Like some others, I'm not sure I'm willing to actually delete. But I think I'm going to stop crossposting.

I don't actually usually write the post on LJ - it's been somewhat unstable and politically problematic since the ownership changed over to Russian control a couple years ago. I've been writing the post on Dreamwidth, which was built to be functionally identical but not under Russian control. Dreamwidth has the option to automatically mirror the post (post it again, on LJ). I'm thinking I'm going to stop bothering to have Dreamwidth send the post, and just stay on DW.
