Chuckro's birthday party was on Monday, and it was raining, so I took ARR on an adventure to get him out of the house so Chuckro could do party prep. We headed for the Brooklyn Children's Museum, which I'd interviewed for a job at a long time ago, but never actually been to the exhibits at. Before we left, I checked the website, which said very

I did not know this museum existed, and we must go there the next time we're in NYC :)

I can't imagine a Jewish Museum that didn't feel weird. Especially for children. What you're trying to get across is basically there IS a monster under the bed, it has been there for all of recorded history, and while this bed is the comfiest bed we've ever been in, there have been very comfy beds before, and the children in those beds were pulled screaming into the dark by hideous claws so: here's some great stuff we've done and here's what a shmura matzah factory looks like, remember the monster's still down there but don't worry too much about it, have a good day kinderlach!
