Easter Egg Hunt?

Mar 10, 2011 08:46

This is probably a long shot, but has anyone seen those plastic Easter Eggs for sale in Japan? The kind you can open and put treats in. I want to do an Easter Egg hunt next month sometime, maybe, but I wondered if I could find eggs like that here, or would I have to *sigh* make some sort of eggs myself. Thanks in advance!

easter, holidays

Something like these? :)

You'd better hurry, though; they take a good week or so to ship.

I'd also add that FBC tends to have a ton of great holiday-themed stuff, and in particular I imagine a lot of their Easter stuff is selling fast right now, so if you're looking for other ideas, you can browse there ^_^

I can't believe I forgot about FBC. orz Thank you. I ordered some eggs; let's see how long it takes for my kids to break them all! xD

Easter isn't for like 40 days, though! :)

This is random, but I did a prepositions lesson using an Easter Egg hunt, but I made huge cardboard cutouts for my eggs and just gave prizes to the people who finished the hunt first. (They did not move the eggs - one person from each team got up to search, then came back and relayed the location in English using prepositions, then the other partner found the next one, etc... kind of like a relay). If you have any questions, I can give you more details.

Since I teach elementary, I just want to give my kids the chance to do a traditional egg hunt the way I did growing up, but thanks.
