The princess laughs at his joke, making a playful "oh stop" hand gesture, and the young lieutenant swells with pride, not knowing the hand motion is a signal to a Water Tribe slave meaning "not tonight".
#02 - Cool
Azula chocks her liking to lay with Hahn because his cool Water Tribe hands are a refreshing change to the sweaty Fire Nation ones she's used to.
#03 - Young
As her hand slips under his belt, Hahn breaks the kiss and nervously asks "Aren't we a little young for this?" to which Azula just laughs and tells him not to question her.
#04 - Last
The first wish he made was that his camp had never been captured; the next wish he made was that he had been born into the Fire Nation; the last wish Hahn made was that the damn servant would have knocked on the damn door.
#05 - Wrong
He loves Yue, he has always loved Yue, it is wrong to be having this affair with Azula (but it feels so right).
#06 - Gentle
"Gentle?" Azula repeats, digging her fingers into his skin, "I'm sorry, but I don't know the meaning of it."
#07 - One
Azula watches as the shipment of new slaves comes in, and her eyes are immediately drawn to the single boy dressed in blue.
#08 - Thousand
"There are probably a thousand other men you could pick over me, so why pick me, when you could have--" Azula does not know the answer, so she stops him with a kiss.

At first he ignores all her advances, but as she whispers to him all the possibilities, he smiles and kisses back.
#10 - Learn
His first encounter with the princess was when he brought her dinner while she is telling her maids of how easy victory will be; despite all the warnings he's gotten to hold his tongue, within a second he is yelling at her that the Fire Nation will never win the war and within another second she is pinning him down and telling him to learn his place.
#11 - Blur
He remembers that she came onto him, but everything else (the torn clothes, the burns and scratches, the fights for dominance, the oh gods) just blurs together
#12 - Wait
Hahn watched nervously as Azula approached him with chains, and warily asked, "Wait... what are those for?"
#13 - Change
"Don't worry," Azula tells the distressed boy, "I like you better dressed in red."
#14 - Command
The canopy is closed, he is told not to make a sound, she slips on a robe, her hair is put in a messy ponytail, and Azula calls out, "You may come in now."
#15 - Hold
From Hahn's experience, girls loved to be held; why Azula would lash out whenever he tried to pull her into his arms was beyond him.
#16 - Need
"I need you," is the simple response to Hahn's simple question, but he says he does not need her, and Azula digs her nails into his shoulder and says, "but I don't need your attitude."
#17 - Vision
Azula always imagined herself with a perfect husband; good in bed, dark hair, pale skin, skilled in combat, willing to give her total control ... she was amazed at how easily Hahn fit most of her criteria and how easily she could tweak the other things.
#18 - Attention
She wants to yell, "Stop moping and pay attention to me," but as a princess she needs some shred of dignity, so instead she just pushes him down, captures his mouth in a kiss, and starts to pull his clothes off.
#19 - Soul
"You don't have a soul, do you?" Hahn asks, and Azula (wondering what made him ask that) replies, "Isn't it obvious?"
#20 - Picture
The quickest way from the training grounds to her room was to pass through the Grand Portrait room, and Azula would sometimes take it at a run, wanting to get away from her ancestors who were glaring down at her.
#21 - Fool
He tells her once that he loves her; she tells him he's a fool.
#22 - Mad
While he's mad for allowing the affair going on, Hahn would be even more mad to deny the princess what she wants.
#23 - Child
She sometimes (only sometimes) wonders what their child would be like-- would it be he or she; bender or no; light or dark skin; gold or blue eyes; brown or black hair-- and sometimes (only sometimes) she wishes she'd be able to find out.
#24 - Now
The foolish maid is dealt with, sent on her way, and Azula goes back to her bead, throwing the canopy open, asking "Now... where were we?"
#25 - Shadow
Azula always taught her guards to shine light into every nook and cranny, but now, out of fear they'll find her with him, she wishes she hadn't.
#26 - Goodbye
Hurry, quick, the Avatar is going to be here soon, we must leave now-- Azula takes off, and before she knows what she's doing, she is at the servant's quarters, giving him one last kiss.
#27 - Hide
"What happens if they find out," Hahn pants out, Azula laughs (as long as I bear no illegitimate children, Daddy won't mind) and goes to kiss him again, but Hahn asks, "What if you do bear a child?" and Azula smiles wickedly (run and hide).
#28 - Fortune
When he was told as a child that he was destined to spend his life with a princess, this is not what he had in mind.
#29 - Safe
To go without the tea would create the hazard of pregnancy, but to ask for tea would stir curiosity and word would eventually get out; either way, Azula was screwed.
#30 - Ghost
The moon shines down on the bed, and Hahn turns away from the window, unable to deal with his fiance haunting and mocking and how could youing him.
#31 - Book
Every "descendant of Agni" has a scroll written of them when they die- Hahn wonders where he'll fit in in the story of Azula's life.
#32 - Eye
Ozai always boasted that he kept a close eye on everything; Hahn took of pleasure in stealing a kiss from his daughter right under his nose.

He wants to ask her if he'll ever be able to go back home, if he'll ever be free, but he already knows the answer.

He is baffled by her request, by knowing better than to question her, Hahn starts to sing.

Hahn is a little more than startled as he wakes to see Azula clinging to him; he is about to ask her what brought around this sudden change of heart, but one look at her expression tells him to shut up.

She was walking alone in the hallway when he came upon her, and with a smirk he pulled her in the shadows, claiming her mouth, kissing her again and again-- "Stop," she hissed as she pulled away, just as a servant passed them.
#37 - Time
Midnight, early morning, late afternoon, late morning, early night-- Hahn lost track of all the times during the day Azula would call for him.
#38 - Wash
He once walked in on her bathing, and promptly averted his eyes and stammered out apologies, but before he could exit the room, Azula laughed and pulled him in.
#39 - Torn
"What are you two doing in that room?" the voice behind the curtain of fire booms out, and Hahn lowers his head (he can tell all to the Fire Lord and he'll be freed from Azula's grasp and he can bask in the moonlight; or he can deny everything and only continue hurting himself) and stutters out (oh why is this so hard?) "N.. nothing, sir."
#40 - History
"I was supposed to go down in history as a war hero of the Northern Water Tribe," he tells her, "not as the lover of the Princess of the Fire Nation."
#41 - Power
Hahn always loved power, and it is now because of this that Azula no longer needs to call for him.
#42 - Bother
"Don't bother," Azula tells the maid as she moves to drain the bath.
#43 - God
Not even Agni himself would be able to save Azula from the wrath of her father as he found out about her personal slave.

The princess was exceptionally emotional that day, she was even more rough that day, and when she slammed him against the wall, she was naive enough to think that it was due to the pain.

Lean legs, ivory skin, full breasts, flushed cheeks, loose hair; Hahn smiles and says "I like you better like this."
#46 - Drive
Sometimes Hahn drives Azula absolutely crazy, because sometimes he hates her, sometimes he loves her and sometimes he acts like he has the upper hand.

He has always heard the saying "Love hurts," but as he bandages his burnt arms, he doesn't think they meant it like this.
#48 - Precious
"You're not just my slave," Azula tells him, "you're my most precious, personal slave..." and Hahn is surprisingly not comforted.

At Hahn's complain of hunger, Azula walks over to her food tray and brings him back a plate of oysters ("Enjoy.")

"I'm going to be killed, aren't I?" Hahn asks, and Azula shakes her head and laughs, "Believe me, you're getting off lucky."
It's official; the last five sentences are always the hardest. *sighs* Anyway. I love a few of these, hate a lot more, and am just glad to be done with them. Azula came out as a nymphomaniac, but ya know what? I'm fairly satisfied with these, because this is a really twisted pairing to write, and I think I did them a bit justice, and I'm just going to shut up now.
