For all of you that were worried about it happening after Season 4's cliffhanger, it didn't happen where you thought, but so it goes, so enjoy those specials.
That said, as sad as I am, this is kind of a good time for him. Season 4 FELT like a wrap up. I have a feeling they've known it for some time.
I'm actually a tad bit excited for a new Doctor. But on the other side of the coin, if the new boy isn't phenomenal, BBC's gonna have hell on their hands. Tennant has brought in so many new fans all by himself.
