the bell jar makes me cry. i love sylvia plath. her suicide is/was somehow really devastating to me.

The Bell Jar is one of those novels that completely envelopes you with its tone. I'm really glad you're reading it. Reading it was a difficult experience for me but I feel like if you walk away from it and feel the need to slash your wrists, you really understood it.
