since comments are screened on sew_hip I thought I would respond here. I would like to have the fabric email me DWA1220 @ aol.com (without the spaces of course)
Hii! ^^ Pardon if this seems super random but I found your profile cause I saw you're into sewing! I'm just starting out (as in I just finished my first project, yay), so I was wondering if you'd like to be LJ friends. ^.^
It's okay if you don't post about sewing too much, I like meeting new people and having an interest in common is a good enough reason (at least to me!). Er, let me know! <3 :D
I really don't, funnily enough! I added her a while back because she seemed interesting but she's hardly been on here since. I'm guessing she doesn't really have internet wherever she is. But hey, small world!
Hey, I noticed a comment from you in danjite's journal just now and wondered if you'd be coming to Kiwiburn this year? I am amused by the crossover of social groups and like how NZ is so tiny (though once we move to Wellington I may feel differently about that!)
Wait, you're moving to Wellington? What happened to Melbourne? :)
The danjite crossover is even more small-worldly, since I know him through friends in SF who are tied neither to NZ people I know, nor Australian people I know who know you. So... yeah. Everyone really *does* know everyone.
I remain undecided on Kiwiburn. I was thinking about it, but I'm not a huge camping person. In short, maybe? :D
We've been in Melbourne for over 2 years now, everything right on schedule: Melbourne was always meant to be a half-way point on the way to NZ. Wellington, if all goes to plan, should be our home from around June (but still a lot of travelling to be done!)
I got to know all the Burner-kiwis I know completely independently from all my Oz friends too, and those connections always seem to originate in SF.
My partner doesn't like camping at all either. Fortunately there are proper toilets and a nice lake for swimming, as well as lots of awesome people, art, dancing and stuff, so it's generally more bearable than the usual camping scenario. If you do come to KB it would be lovely to see you again!

I think it is better that your husband have only one wife, else he would become very confused. *nod*
