Can anyone explain why Adam Sandler is kind to homeless people in almost all of his movies?

perhaps he was at one time homeless himself, or had a really good friend that was homeless.

maybe he saw american psycho and felt bad for that homeless guy and thought by being nice to homeless people in his movies people would forget american psycho...

duuhhh! cuz he's marrying me, and i'm soon-to-be homeless loser cuz i can't find a job...i mean, doesn't it logically follow that he would be kind to the breed of people his future wife belongs to??
