in florida, we're told to stock up on canned goods, bottled water, and extra batteries for our radios in case of a hurricane.
i suppose it is better to be safe than sorry, but those sorts warnings have been continually issued since the day we started bombing baghdad...the news had people duct taping plastic over the cracks around their doors. military surplus stores were sold out of gas masks. there will always be alarmists, but i think the actual risk of ever needing to use that information is quite miniscule.
thanks jerk. i looked at that for like 2 minutes before i went to bed then i had a really awful dream that we got nuked and there was dead people everywhere.
