I never thought of it like that, tbh. I guess because I stop believing in Santa while I was rather young, 6 or 7?, and I figured everyone went home and had a Christmas like mine xD
I was a cynical little child XD But for some reason my parents managed to convince me about the Easter Bunny. I think it's cause we lived in an area with a huge rabbit pop. and they convinced me of some sort of rabbit workers union or something.
I was never taught that Santa, or the Easter Bunny, or the Tooth Fairy were real, because my parents didn't believe in lying to kids. I vividly remember one Christmas when I was little and I asked my parents if we could just pretend that Santa was real. Because I really wanted to believe.
I have never thought about it in this way,but I do think your parents had a point. I never believed in Santa because over here it's more usual to say that Baby Jesus brings the presents :)

I never believed in Santa because over here it's more usual to say that Baby Jesus brings the presents :)
