Karena will probably appreciate this post the most, but I saw my sister furiously typing a long document on Word and I asked her what it was. She wouldn't tell me, so I ventured a guess of "oh, are you making a story up about the characters in one of your TV shows?" and she answered "yes". Gah... I thought I could avoid this stuff at least 2 more

Hm. Nothing wrong with writing fanfiction. Hell, I started way back in seventh grade; didn't actually start writing respectable fanfiction until around ninth, though. Promotes writing skillz, yessiree. Do not look down on fanfiction, or I swear to god I'm going to pop a blood vessel and beat some tolerance and understanding into that brain of yours.

Heh, don't worry I'm not looking down on it. I just wasn't expecting it from someone that just left 5th grade and entering 6th. There are a lot more worse things she could be doing, and I'm happy that it's something that will help her out.
