ADVICE NEEDED!
I have a little bit of a problem. I could especially use the advice of sellers and buyers in either the Hetalia main community or Hetalia_sell community.
I've never had this problem happen before, but I ordered a few doujinshi from a creator a couple months ago. Took about three weeks after they sent it out to finally get here last

I think you should contact them with saying they've reached you but then that there's one book missing that you ordered and ask them an explanation about it, then you send the email and await their reply before you pull out your big guns/receipts&confirmation :)
it did happen that I missed a book in my orders [2 orders so far, from different proxies] but they both immediately wanted to get me the book if I was still interested so I think the people you bought from will react the same ways.. And why would you lie about it, just be honest and see :)

I'm going to try doing as you suggested with the books. It won't get rid of the dents and creases on the back, but at least they'll be flat. D: I doubt I'll ever sell them though, so at least I won't have to worry about that.
Yeah, my first thought was, "Oh no, they're not going to believe me when I say one in missing." ^^;; I really don't care too much, it's an honest mistake, I just hope they don't feel like I'm tricking them to get extra merchandise. I've seen it happen before, sadly.
Thanks for the advice Siiy; I'm really new at this, so I kind of panicked when I opened the package and realized everything. I'll keep the receipt and stuff off to the side, only if they ask for it.

Yeah, sorry, I don't know what to do with dents either D: I'll ask around on my flist if they know something useful for you.
If it DOES happen that they wont believe you even after you show all the evidence, if there is some place where you can leave feedback I suggest you do it and tell them they treated you unfairly about it too.
