Why does having a BS in CS make people think I can fix anything with a circuit board in it? :p Hell, CS doesn't even mean I can fix a desktop. I just happen to be able to do it.

Because having any minor knowledge about a computer means you are a genius and can fix anything related to them.

I get the same thing about being an EE :P "you don't need a new radio in your car, just wire up an auxiliary plug for your ipod yourself". Although my education did have a bit to do with circuits... >.> Too bad I focused on the big stuff like power lines.
