I was first introduced to Jack and Kate at the beginning of April. My friend had an Evangeline Lilly character on a role play, and I was finally ready to make her girl a guy, but I'd never seen Lost. I IMed a friend that watches pretty much every TV show on TV. I asked who her character dated on the show. Goes to show how much I knew about the show

Ellie, AMAZING first post for your NEW LJ! Wow, what you said is exactly how I feel and the reason why I haven't been back to jak.org/forums, because it's turned into a contest of who can suck up to the Skater more. I'm just like, "I don't need this shit. I'm OUT." It's ridiculous. I see that open discussion is GOOD, the keyword being DISCUSSION. All these girls do at times is say "Oh yeah, I agree.....THE END" WTF? NO.

When you said this, "I'm sorry if I believe in Jate too much for some people. But I'm not going to stop being a serious Jater for the sake of shipping unity", that is where it is. RIGHT there. I go into that thread in defense of Jate, because the Skater is being condescending and nice all the while stabbing Jate in the gut, and I'm just 'TOO much of a Jater'. WTF? Okay, yeah, whatever. I believe in Jate, HARD. So what? And if you don't, that's not my problem either, so I'm gone.
