An Intervention of Lullabies.

By the time I finish this entry, it will be Sunday. Isn't that strange? That two minutes can change an entire day, and even an entire weekend? I think so. I've been thinking about time lately. Although I say that lightly, considering I'm never not thinking about time. And about double negatives.

I'll tell you about two negatives that do not make a ( Read more... )

my brother doesn't believe in time. i can see where he's coming from but at the same time i can't help but feel he's being somewhat inconsiderate of others.

damn, we're both in the same boat where our permits are concerned. i really don't want to read the book either. it seems like such a drag. but what has to be done has to be done. life goes on.

i love you last paragraph.

doesn't believe in time? wow. I don't think I've ever heard that before :) I'm curious, to say the least.

yep! the elusive permit... I hope it goes well for us.

thanks ♥

this sunday will not be so pleasant. I usually do nothing at all, but this time I'll have to do lots of stuff because I won't have time to do them during the week.

I don't even know why there are books on traffic and driving in general. it makes really no sense. I still have mine somewhere in my closet.. not that I ever used it again after the test. but I actually had to look up international traffic rules (or more speed limits) when we drove to belgium (via the netherlands). you have to drive slower there.
so you'll be driving in new york? is there any driving in the city or just traffic jams? ;)

I hate busy weekends, like the kind that involve cramming in the necessary bits and pieces. But at least it frees up more of the week :)

exactly! reading a book about doing something other than reading a book... it's interesting. international traffic rules? cool.

In New York City, driving is about as easy as walking. Which is really crowded and difficult to manage, but people do :) I live on Long Island, so I'm about an hour outside of that city. Here in the suburbs, we're still crazy New York drivers. I love this state ♥ Man, I want to go to Belgium. Or even leave the country at all!

yeah, but sometimes it just means that you'll be busy during the week, too and therefore have to do all the stuff now. :/

I wonder if it's more dangerous to drive in NYC or on malta. I've been there and those people are just insane. their cars are all wrecked, they drive on the left side and their only rule is "whoever is faster, can drive first." funniest thing I've experienced there (traffic-wise): the bus we were on was driving down this tiny street and another bus came from the opposite drive.. no one wanted to stop, they just kept going. then they were stuck with maybe 1 inch between their vehicles.. they just kept screaming at each other and no one wanted to give in. I think they added some more dents and stuff to their busses and somehow we managed to get away and made it to our destination. wherever that was.

see, I want to go to NYC and if it's just for shopping. belgium is really not that interesting. but I can't really tell. I've only been there for a festival, haha. and that was interesting.

NYC has the clothes, and Belgium has the waffles!
It's a good deal.

Have you seen my mom's license picture. Anyone with a soul would've let her have a re-take. Naturally the DMV lady didn't
