Rachel and Doss have been with me this weekend, which is lots of fun. Rachel and I went and roamed the Quarter yesterday while Doss and Kevin were at VoodooFest. The plan was that there would be a party after Voodoo at a friend's house, but said friend turned out to be having a lame night and falling asleep, and the early arrivals to the party

Congratulations, my darling! As ever, our Shahrizai methods prove true once more, and with skillful knowledge of your partner and the fault-lines in his soul, your endeavor is successful. Of course, it is a great responsibility to beget and raise a child, especially if one plans to raise him properly in the way of our House. That is without even mentioning one's dues to the Throne (you are Queen of Terre d'Ange currently, and hopefully for many games to come), the House, the family, and of course to oneself (Hedonism!). In any case, I rejoice that you have attained your goal. Naturally, I expect to be named Godfather (cyber at the least) to your first child, though s/he may not come for four years more

I do appreciate your kind encouragement, coz. It will doubtless be a long and challenging month ahead of me, but I look forward to it - I think the challenges are good for me. You will certainly be welcome to read what I produce during NaNo, but I doubt it will be of much quality. Editing it will not be something I worry about at all until December or later, if ever. I'm contemplating setting up a journal to post it in, actually, for those who want to see my utter ridiculousness unfold in real time.

I've no doubt the answer to the question will be as you and I wish it - after all, we are Shahrizai, are we not? And we get our way ^^
