I'm searching for something. Clearly. I think everyone my age is. However, I'm not angsty. Does it bother anyone else that the fact that I'm searching for someone automatically makes you think that I'm angsty. I like Garden State and all, but I'm starting to think that it's done more harm than good. Why can't I just search for something, be happy, ( Read more... )

Insecurity isn't found in searching. It's the people who aren't searching within their daily routines who are insecure. I try to let life wash over me, and then when i'm alone, i allow myself to reflect on my interactions with the world. It's a pretty incredible thing to be able to live in and respond to the world ( ... )

no, no, it definitely makes sense...and it would also explain why I'm sitting in a dorm room, about to go to sleep and go to work/school tomorrow and not in a car in north dakota, finding myself...but every now and then I wonder which would be a better use of my time.
