I'm still a Republican but I can't handle Palin. I have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils here.

Join me at a new comm if you wish. This one will remain as is and untouched. Stable. I'm STILL a REPUBLICAN.

I can understand that. Her affiliation with the infamous J for J group, plus the fact that she isn't truly a fiscal conservative bother me as well. Linda Lingle would have been a much better choice, in my opinion, but there is 2012. I am pretty sure Louisiana will go for McCain as California will go to Obama. The Libertarian candidate is a hypocrite himself, leaving not too many choices, as Nader is insane and McKinney is a vicious anti-semite (and insane, too). I am concnerned about an Obama-Pelosi combination, but that won't last long as Congress is really unpopular.

If you feel so strongly about it, the least you could do is share your concerns with the rest of the community. If it is so bad you would go to the Obama ticket, shouldn't it be shared? Maybe it would convince people or be dismissed out of hand, but at least then we have more to go on than a "can't handle Palin" which tells us exactly nothing.

Well, I'll post it here. She is antichoice, I'm not. Among other things. Prochoice is my thing. I am a prochoice Republican, as are most Jews.

I don't want to offend people in the comm though, so I'm not making it a thing.

Thanks, I appreciate you telling me. I am on the opposite side of things myself. I didn't want to be ignorant of some major issue that I would have a problem with myself.

Why don't you vote libertarian instead of voting for a terrorist like Obama?

Because I don't want fundie anti-choice Palin to win. She will be a hair's breath away from the Presidency with a older President, and could become President. I do like Bob Barr. I even like McCain, but choosing Palin, while good for the fundie right, is not good for the Jewish right, if you know what I mean.
