I'm sorry to say that (so far as I know) 'Ottawa' Orthodox Conversions are being sent to Montreal. There is quite a lot of politics involved and I don't know it all. One very important thing is you need to be absolutely sure you want to do it before you start the process...they will turn you away several times before they'll accept you understand what you're 'getting into'. I'm a convert myself (one of the last who was converted in Ottawa, actually).
You could contact Rabbi Bulka at Machzikei Hadas (http://www.machzikeihadas.com/) and he'll probably tell you about the same as I did ^_^ but if you're leaning more towards a Conservative conversion I belive you would ask at Beth Shalom downtown (http://www.bethshalom.ca/) although I don't know much about the Conservative shuls.
You can totally convert in Ottawa via the Montreal beit din--you just have to visit Montreal a handful of times to talk to the beit din. All the classes are in Ottawa. I know, because that's the program I am in. One girl in the program converted Orthodox just before this year's Passover.
It depends on what denomination you are interested in. If you are interested in Reform, there is Temple Israel. They offer classes which interested people can take before going through the conversion process.
