Hmm... where to start, life has been crazy as of late. I went home this weekend:
Friday:
- I went shopping with my mom for job shadow
clothes for me and I was able to buy a really nice outfit from Target
for like 40 dollars total... that's what I'm talking about!
- Went to champs w/ the couples (minus J-Dawg) *lan
parties....*, and then went over to Party Central, for one last hurrah
and by hurrah I def. mean all of us were falling asleep and I had a
really random migrane. It was just nice to be with everyone though :).
- Jimbo coverd me up all cute when I was falling asleep complete with a head massage.
- I will resist the urge to uber sentimental about Party
Central, because there have been so many wonderful memories there. But
I'm not worried the new place will be full of new ones including a lil
baby creation Saturday Night ;).
Saturday:
- Went to D'Town with my Daddyo and got to see where I'll be job
shadowing... AH! I'm so insanely exicted, which if you talked to me you
already know. But still, words can NOT describe how beyond exicted I
am!!! We also hit up the Runner's Expo (the real reason he was in
D'Town) which honestly, was one of the most boring things ever. I also
felt like a massive wale, all thoose damn runners are SO freakin'
skinny. Anyway... it was fun to see some of his runner buddies too.
- My mom and I went shopping for HER for some work clothes. Now if
you know my mom, you know how little time and money she actually spends
on herself. So this was a BIG deal and she actually found some things
that she liked, and I'm really proud of her for it.
- Then... I got ready for the reason I night I'd be looking forward to for WEEKS....
- Savitha's Maya show!!:
- Met up w/ the Plutionan outside his palace, and we walked over
there (note to self is it NOT good to wear heals when walking all
around Ann Arbor but w/e I learned the hard way-- ouch!)
- G,C and I went on the hunt for food with 90% failure... until we found the vending machiene, gotta love candy bar dinners
- Trying to get ahold of James.... "who is this..." and the outfit ;)
- Passing out brocher's and having the un popular door
- Seeing my Snu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and her super hot cousin w/ her sexy boots.
-
- Lauren Baker was meeting us there, and was running late... so
the guys vollenterd to wait for her so Geri, her posse and I could see
Savitha's first dance which means SO much. It was ofcourse amazing...
and they came back just in time to see the hoochie girls, so it worked
well for everyone.
- Over all the show was amazing. I am STILL glowing with Pride
for Savitha and everything SHE was able to do. Not only did she look
and dance beautifully, but HER show went off w/o a single hitch.
It doesn't matter how many times I see her dance, I STILL get a little
misty eyed. If you know Sav, you know what a beautiful person she is...
but when you see her dance, it just brings it to a whole new level. I
miss my sis, and love her SO much it was just so great to see her so
happy up there doing what she realy loves.
-
- Post-show, we all litterally EVERYONE went to Pizza House which
was SO good (note the candy bar for dinner) and a very good time. And
Savitha got to here my last Tuesday Nick story... hahahha yeah.
- Then a lil' clothing switch-a roo (note: this is when I SHOULD
of changed my shoes) and off to Necto. However, Sav called and said
that Necto wasn't anyone in. So, Chris and I walked to Ozz (I think?)
and he befriended the guy at the door b/c it's Chris and he becomes
friends with EVERYONE and we were able to get Snu's under age cousin
in.
- The Club was alot of fun and I loved the music! That's one
thing I do miss up here, is there aren't many places to go and DANCE.
But gettin' our groves on.. we DID do even lil Snu. All and all an
amazing night.
- Mr. Chris was kind enough to let me stay at the palace and it
was really nice just sitting up and talking with him. It doesn't matter
how much time I spend with him, he still manages to amaze me each and
everytime. :)
Sunday:
- I woke up and got to watch a "Whose Wedding is that
anyway?" marathon.... and then later Mr. Chris joined me and the
tv got changed to the Lions game. And yes, I watched almost half of the
game with him and his roomie which was def. interesting to say the
least. But did anyone notice the Lions won? Oh yeah, that's right...
why? Because I watched them! :P
- I left around 2 or so to come back here, and it wasn't a bad
drive at all really. I got to talk w/ Sav a good 1/2 hr b/c I didn't
really get to talk much with her or G the previous night, and I drove
w/ the cruise control cause my damn feet hurt SO much... but whatcha
gonna do.
- Then I pretty much crashed for a few hours before I started some heavy duty weather studying.
Honestly, it was the perfect weekend downstate. I got to see the
couples and the Ann Arbor crew + Snu, her cousin and Lauren Baker, and
got to spend time indivually with my parents. I couldn't of asked for
better people, or a better time.
Ok, well it's 10 to 5 now... and I'm TIRED. I guess I'll update about
my week tommorw, cause I really everyone is just dying to know :P.
